OEG Energy Group Limited (“OEG”, the “Group”), a leading offshore solutions business, announces the appointment of Doug Fleming as its new Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) effective today.
Most recently Doug Fleming was CFO of private equity backed Siccar Point Energy from its start up in 2014 to a business that was sold to Ithaca Energy in 2022, for a consideration of up to $1.46 billion. Prior to this he was the Senior Vice President Business Development for Centrica following its acquisition of Venture Production plc in 2009. His role at Venture was wide-reaching covering acquisitions and disposals, debt raising, investor relations and the creation of two innovative private equity joint ventures within the offshore energy sector. Doug began his career at The Royal Bank of Scotland as a lender working in the Leveraged Finance Group and latterly as an investor with Royal Bank Ventures.

- Significant experience in the raising of both debt and equity finance, and in the successful execution of both asset and corporate M&A transactions in multiple international jurisdictions.
- Strengthens the senior management team at the Group level to accelerate OEG’s ambitious growth plans which has an emphasis on supporting its customers’ in ensuring energy security, while developing its fast-growing offering in offshore renewables.
